Since the publication of the guidance booklet, the focus has now turned to producing resources that can support the professional development of teachers in the use of mathematics in the science curriculum. A range of possibilities has been identified. The first to be produced is a set of activities intended to stimulate engagement with the guidance booklet. Some of these activities are shown here:

Work is being done on identifying other existing resources that are useful in supporting the teaching of mathematics in science. A small sample is shown here:

During Autumn Term 2016, work is starting on producing guidance for science departments on planning how to use the activities on this website along with other existing resources.
